Collection: Meshtastic Antennas, Cables and Enclosures
Meshtastic turns small LoRa radios into an off-grid text and location mesh that works without cell service. In Canada, Meshtastic uses the US region (902 to 928 MHz), so every antenna here is tuned for 915 MHz.
Range comes from height and the antenna. A base or router node with a McGill 6 dBi or Nebra 5.8 dBi fibreglass antenna on a mast reaches far more of the mesh than a stock stubby antenna. For a fixed link between two sites, the McGill 9, 10 and 13 dBi directional antennas aim the signal where you need it.
Build a weatherproof outdoor node. The RAKwireless Outdoor Enclosure has room for a compact board and wiring, with antenna ports and a pole mount. Add the 12 W Seeed solar panel to power it off-grid, and the RAK solar shield to keep it cool in summer sun. Building several nodes? Enclosure volume pricing applies automatically at checkout: 10% off 2 or more, 20% off 5 or more and 30% off 10 or more. See Bulk & Pallet Pricing.
Check your connector first. Our antennas use N-type connectors. Many Meshtastic boards have an SMA jack, while our hotspot cables and adaptors end in RP-SMA, which does not fit SMA. If you're not sure what your board needs, contact us before you order and we'll help you match it.
Keep outdoor cable runs short and low-loss (try the free coax cable loss calculator), fit a lightning arrestor on any mast, and use our Antenna Setup Planner to pick a matching set. Prices are in CAD, shipped from Ontario across Canada.
