Moving a gateway outdoors and closer to the antenna usually beats any cable upgrade. RAKwireless outdoor enclosures are made for exactly that, with models fitted for RAK, SenseCAP M1 and Bobcat gateways.

Want it all in one box? Our outdoor enclosure kits pair the enclosure with a McGill 6 dBi antenna and a 50 ft cable: the Outdoor Enclosure Kit for LoRaWAN Gateways (RAK and similar gateways), the Outdoor Enclosure Kit for SenseCAP M1 and the Outdoor Enclosure Kit for Bobcat 300. The gateway or hotspot itself isn't included.

Each kit includes a PoE injector and splitter, so one Ethernet cable carries both power and data up the mast, plus an antenna cable and sealing tape. The SenseCAP M1 and Bobcat kits are IP67 rated and include a pole mounting kit. Add the RAKwireless Solar Shield to keep summer sun off the enclosure.

These kits aren't only for Helium. The RAK enclosure also suits The Things Network and ChirpStack gateways, Raspberry Pi projects such as weather stations and ADS-B receivers, and outdoor Meshtastic nodes, since its PoE splitter has a USB-C 5 V output. Check your board's size before ordering. The SenseCAP M1 and Bobcat enclosures fit only those devices.
